Ankeny Centennial basketball player Mya Crawford commits to Drake

Ankeny Centennial girls basketball player Mya Crawford won’t have to go far for college.

Crawford, a 5-foot-8 guard and member of the class of 2025, committed to Drake on Friday. She announced the news on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Crawford previously posted that she held offers from Murray State, Colorado State and Bradley.

She’s coming off a strong sophomore season that saw her average 8.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
