Now Netflix’s Geeked Week has come to an end, we’ve got a much clearer view of the streaming giant’s output for 2024. There’s a lot of stuff on Netflix, and it can be a hit and miss affair sorting the good movies, the gripping shows and slick anime from the clutter of sheer content.

The Brothers Sun - January 4

This action-packed, dark comedy follows Taipei gangster Charles Sun, who travels to LA to protect his mother and oblivious younger brother.

Gyeongseong Creature, episodes 8,9,10 - January 5

The first episodes to this mysterious 1940’s thriller will air in December, but you can catch up with the final episodes early next year. A detective and an entrepreneur investigate old Seoul and a creature “born of greed”.

Leave The World Behind - January

From the director of Mr Robot, this movie features a big-name cast as they learn to deal with what looks like the coming of the end of the world.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution - January

This new spin on He-Man, Skeletor and the citizens of Eternia promises to put a whole new spin on the once-popular cartoon heroes of the 1980s.

Avatar: The Last Airbender - February 22

A big release for Netflix, the first trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender looks very promising and comes with a stellar cast.
