Amy Robach Tells T.J. Holmes She 'Would Absolutely Run Off and Elope' for Third Wedding

If Amy Robach hears wedding bells ringing for a third time, the former Good Morning America anchor says she's angling for a more low-key affair. Robach, 51, discussed a possible third marriage on Tuesday's episode of her podcast with her partner, T.J. Holmes, 46, Amy & T.J.

When Holmes asked Robach what she would want her third wedding to be like, she succinctly quipped, "Justice of the peace. Vegas."

"Is there a justice of the peace in Vegas? I thought only Elvis did them," Holmes teased. "That's where you want to have it."

Considering the question more seriously, Robach went on to share that she ultimately wanted a more "intimate" celebration for her third wedding. "I really would want it to be a very intimate gathering," she said. "And I would absolutely run off and elope somewhere."

"I think that's probably, if I had to pick, I'd pick eloping and going to Fiji or somewhere really nice and far away," she added.

"Running to Fiji, OK," Holmes replied, laughing. "You really want to get away. All right."

Elsewhere during the episode, the couple addressed not having children together when Holmes asked Robach whether she thinks they're "missing out on having kids."

"Absolutely. Yes," she told her partner. "I see your parenting style and it's very similar to mine and that is a gift."

Robach, who shares two daughters Ava and Annalise with her first husband, Tim McIntosh, explained, "If any of you all out there have a shared parenting style with your partner that makes life so much easier or at least a little bit easier. And it feels good to have a similar mode of operation when it comes to what we want for our kids, what we want to teach them."

"And what I love about you is that you're willing to let your child not like you in the moment to teach them a lesson to do the right thing. I appreciate that," she added. "So yes, I have multiple times been a little sad that we did not come together at a time where we could have had that option."

Holmes shares 10-year-old daughter Sabine with his ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig, and daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with his first wife, Amy Ferson.

Holmes and Robach have been candid about the difficulties within their relationship and have previously taken to the podcast to work on their issues. Last month, the pair released an emotional episode which they recorded after admitting that things "ain't right" in their relationship.

After the episode was released, the pair took to social media to clarify that there is no cause for alarm, they are still a couple.

"We're still together :)," the caption read on a Instagram post shared in January. "If you've already listened to today's episode on Amy and T.J., you'll understand! If you haven't, click the link in my bio to hear for yourself and let us know how you handle communication and conflict in your relationships! #linkinbio #relationships #communication #amyandtjpodcast."

In a video shared next to the caption, the former anchors set things straight.

"Hey folks," Holmes says as he walks arm-in-arm with Robach. "Just wanted to check in and let you know that despite what you've been hearing, we are still together. Our latest episode of the podcast was something we really struggled with and debated about whether or not we should put it out there but at this point I'm glad we did."

Robach chimed in, "Yeah, I am too because our larger goal in putting our our latest episode was to show that yes, we like to put pictures of us smiling like everyone else and laughing on social media, but if we want to be real and we want to be transparent, we want to show all the sides of us, and I would say most relationships. So we hope that you all get something out of it and we hope that you keep coming back."

Robach and Holmes' secret romance became public in 2022, amid their splits from their respective spouses. At the end of 2023, the couple began to put their relationship on display on red carpets and decided they would share things from their perspective on their podcast.
