Despite the rising online speculation surrounding Kate Middleton's health, Prince William has continued with his normal royal engagements.

This morning, the Prince of Wales visited Wrexham to celebrate St. David's Day, beginning his day at Wrexham AFC, where he met Rob McElhenney. In 2021, McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds purchased the Welsh soccer club, and their journey with the team has been shown in the docuseries Welcome to Wrexham.

After the sports-focused visit, Prince William stopped by All Saint's School, a local primary school in Wrexham. There, he learned about its St. David’s Day celebrations, including traditional Welsh folk dancing and the baking of Bara Brith. While there, some students gave him a bouquet of flowers for Kate, and what appear to be red dragon plushies for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The Prince's day in Wales concluded with a visit to the Gresford Colliery Disaster Memorial, which commemorates one of the deadliest disasters in Welsh coal mining history. He met with relatives of those killed, including Ruby McBurney, the daughter of a victim.

Throughout the day, Prince William kept to his modus operandi of not commenting on his wife Kate's health. In January, when announcing Kate's abdominal surgery, Kensington Palace said they would "only provide updates on Her Royal Highness' progress when there is significant new information to share," and have since only commented twice more—once when she was discharged from the hospital, and yesterday, in response to the heightened online discussion surrounding the Princess of Wales.

Yesterday, a spokesperson for her told Town & Country, "Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the Princess' recovery and we'd only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands." He reiterated that Kate is "doing well."
