We're knee deep into the 2024 season of American Idol, which means only one thing: it's time to start voting on who you want to win the entire competition!
As the ABC series heats up with performances from the Top 20, it's still hard to tell who will win. When can I vote for American Idol in 2024?
For those who tune in on Sunday night, April 14th, voting for your favorite contestant opens at the end of the show's East Coast airing at approximately 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT. Each person can vote up to 10 times per voting method (so a total of 30 times across platforms) for their competitor of choice, with voting ending at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT the next morning, April 15th.
Folks can check the official American Idol website or the American Idol app to find out when to vote each week, and the show recommends checking their FAQ page for updates on when to vote throughout the season.

How to vote for American Idol online:
If you're the type who wants to vote for American Idol on either a computer or the internet browser on your phone, the show has you covered.
Fans can head on over to American Idol's official voting website, where they will need to create a free account in order to access it. After that, you can sign in and choose the artist and the number of times you want to cast your vote. Just remember to save all your choices and that you only have 10 times to do it!
How to vote for American Idol in the app:
For those who want to have one easy place to vote for their favorite artists week after week, American Idol has an official app for that! Viewers can either download it via the Apple App Store or the Google Play store, where it offers both highlights from the night and the option to vote.
Once you have app on your phone, make sure you make an account and sign in. After that, you can go to the "Go to Vote Now" section and select which contestant you'd like to have move forward to the next round. You can give that artist up to 10 votes, and just make sure you click the "Save" button for your choice to go through.

If you'd rather forgo creating accounts and adding apps on your phone, American Idol has an even easier way for voting for the 2024 contestants!
With this method, all you have to do is text the number corresponding with the person you want to vote for to the number "21523."
