All American: Homecoming Just Gave Us a Big Hint About Who Simone Will Choose in Season 3

We’re not geometry whizzes or anything, but we think we may have cracked the outcome of All American: Homecoming’s central love triangle.

Martin Bobb-Semple, who plays Lando Johnson on the CW drama, has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming third season, according to our sister site Deadline. As fans of the show will recall, Season 2 ended with Simone choosing between love interests Lando and Damon (Peyton Alex Smith), but viewers didn’t get to see who she was speaking to when she declared, “I know who I want. It’s you.”

Bobb-Semple’s promotion is already a clue that Simone might pick Lando, but Smith was also bumped down from series regular to recurring cast member last July, amid several other cast shake-ups. Kelly Jenrette, who plays Bringston University president Amara Patterson, will also now recur, while Cory Hardrict (Marcus Turner) and Rhoyle Ivy King (Nathaniel Hardin) will serve as series regulars on reduced guarantees, meaning they’ll appear in fewer episodes.

Geffri Maya (Simone Hicks), Sylvester Powell (JR Raymond), Netta Walker (Keisha McCalla) and Mitchell Edwards (Cam Watkins) are all returning as full-fledged series regulars. Camille Hyde’s status as Thea Mays remains unknown.

All American: Homecoming is still awaiting a Season 3 premiere date. Are you glad we’ll be getting more Lando in the new episodes?
