American Eagle Is Dropping a ‘Mean Girls’ Collab That Even the Plastics Would Approve Of

You know the drill: On Wednesdays, we wear pink, but today isn’t like any regular Wednesday, it’s cooler. Why is that you might ask? Well, aside from the fact that it’s the first Wednesday of 2024 (!!!), it’s also the day Cosmo gets to let you in on a little secret we’ve been keeping. Just in time for the new Mean Girls movie coming out next week (in theaters January 12), American Eagle is releasing a new collection on the 8th inspired by the movie—and it’s so grool, even the Plastics would approve. Get in loser, we’re going shopping!
IDK about you guys, but personally I identify as a Gretchen Wieners sun, Regina George rising, and Cady Heron moon. So it’s probably no surprise when I tell you I have my tickets booked and ready to watch the latest rendition of the cult-classic film starring bbs Reneé Rapp and Christopher Briney. And this AE collab? It instantly became the makings of my upcoming movie night outfit for sure.
Regardless of which character you identify as (solidarity with my Karen Smith angels) or don’t identify with; there’s a bit of something for every fan out there…and obviously there are some pink ‘fits. From graphic fleeces so cozy they’ll become WFH and coffee shop staples to graphic tees filled with insider jokes and even a totally fab denim skirt for outings with the girls (or you know, you could just wear these pieces to go to Taco Bell *shrugs*). Legit, it’s a Mean Girls fan’s heaven.
