Amber Alert canceled for infant boy from Tyler area after parents surrender baby to CPS

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for an infant boy missing from the Tyler area around 8 p.m. Thursday. It was discontinued by 11 p.m. the same night after the baby’s mother surrendered him to be taken into CPS custody, police said.

Police said Ryder Williams was abducted by his parents, Michelle Wolf, 30, and Ricky Williams, 36, after the child tested positive for drugs and a court awarded temporary custody to Child Protective Services. They had last been seen in the 100 block of North Broadway Ave. on Monday around noon.

The mother gave the baby to law enforcement in Hunt County to take the baby to CPS, and the father was found in Tyler on Thursday night, police said.
