Amazon workers strike at Coventry warehouse over pay dispute

Amazon workers in Coventry are striking in the first of a string of walk-outs as part of an ongoing pay dispute.

The GMB union said more than 350 staff at the fulfilment centre will walk out on 28 February.

More strikes are planned for 2 March, and then from 13 March to 17 March in their bid for a pay rise to £15 an hour.

GMB said they’ve made history by their members becoming the first Amazon workers in the UK to strike in this campaign.
