It’s official — the date of Amazon’s annual shopping extravaganza known as Prime Day has been announced after weeks of rumors. Mark your calendar: Amazon Prime Day 2022 is on Tuesday, July 12, and Wednesday, July 13 in more than 20 countries, returning to its customary month after two years of pandemic-related shifts. In 2020, Prime Day moved to October, and in 2021, it was in June.

But you don't have to wait till Prime Day. The company confirmed that early deals will begin next week, on Tuesday, June 21 — including 55% off select Amazon devices, up to 50% off Fire TV, and more deals from top brands like De'Longhi, Dove, and SodaStream.

Here's a peek at some additional savings you'll see leading up to Prime Day:

Save big on Amazon Devices: Get deals starting June 21 and save up to 55% on some key Amazon devices, including Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) and Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) Kids, Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon Glow with Tangram Bits, Halo Band, Luna Controller, Fire 7 Tablet (2019 release), Echo Dot (4th Gen) with a Free Smart Bulb, Ring Alarm Security Kit 8-Piece (2nd Gen), Blink Video Doorbell, eero mesh WiFi routers, and more.

Save on Fire TV smart TVs: Starting at just $89.99, you'll be able to save early with Fire TV smart TVs from brands including Toshiba, Insignia, Pioneer, and Amazon. Here's a sneak peek:

Also pretty cool: From July 1 - 29, Prime members get a $200 Amazon Gift Card instantly upon approval for the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card. That's some serious shopping power! Cardmembers who are also Prime members will earn 6% back at Amazon and Whole Foods Market on Prime Day, too.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

In case you're not familiar with it, Prime Day includes sales on thousands of items across a range of categories — tech, kitchen essentials, vacuums, apparel, beauty must-haves and so much more. While not everything at Amazon is on sale for Prime Day, a lot is.

Keep in mind that technically, Prime Day is just for Amazon Prime members. But, if you’re not a Prime member and you want to participate in the shop-a-thon (plus score year-round deals and perks), there’s still time to sign up and take advantage of the savings. Prime plans are $14.99 per month (or $139 per year), and you get a free 30-day trial at signup.

Take advantage of these fan-favorite deals while you're waiting for Prime Day 2022 to hit. And, of course, if you have a Prime membership, you'll get free shipping.
