Amal Clooney’s love affair with sequins continued on her latest date night.

Accompanying husband George Clooney to a Seattle screening of his latest film, The Boys in the Boat, the human-rights lawyer cut a stylish and festive figure in a twinkling column dress from 16Arlington’s Spring 2024 collection.

Large, circular sequins emitting an incandescent shine covered the entire dress, which was underlaid with a bright candy-apple red slip. The collar and sleeveless arm holes were lined with glittery gray ribbed fabric, which perfectly coordinated with Clooney’s choice of shoes: reflective silver pumps. She continued the metallic theme with a mirrored gold box clutch, and finished off the look with decorative drop earrings and a maroon mani.

George Clooney looked suave and cozy alongside his wife, opting to wear a navy blue turtleneck layered underneath a long slate-gray blazer coat. He completed his ensemble with pleated dark gray trousers and glossy black dress shoes.

The barrister is fresh off of another major sequined moment from a red carpet event earlier this week. On Monday, she attended the 2023 Fashion Awards, where she looked ravishing in a showstopping Atelier Versace gown that was completely covered in metallic gold and bronze sequins. The sequins gradually got larger as they traveled from the piece’s bodice down to the train that pooled around her feet. To cap off the look, she added golden pointed-toe pumps, an oval golden clutch, and dangly diamond earrings by Cartier.
