Alt-pop duos Jady and Tedious & Brief perform at Stockroom East in South Bend

SOUTH BEND — Jady performs at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at Stockroom East, 625 Jefferson Blvd. Stuite C.

Tedious & Brief opens the show.

An alt-pop duo from Columbus, Ohio, Jady formed when Jarrett Doherty finished an opening tour with longtime friends and fellow Columbus musicians Twenty One Pilots.

Within a year, Jady had released its debut, genre-bending album “The Haze.” The duo also has opened for Jay Joseph and Arrested Youth and for The Astronomers on tour.

A second album, “Napalm,” came out in the fall.

The indie-alt pop Tedious & Brief is a Chicago-born national act led by Jamie Jacobsen and her husband/drummer, Parker Moore.

They recently wrapped up a fall/winter tour with indie act Mae and have finished recording their full-length album in Florida with producer Aaron Marsh of indie band Copeland.
