Alicia Silverstone Posts Vacation Photos with Lookalike Son Bear from 'Soaked' Costa Rica Adventure

The 'Clueless' star shared that she and her 12-year-old son were braced for the rain exploring the Arenal Volcano

Rain or shine, Alicia Silverstone and her son will still have a blast!

On Tuesday, April 23, the Clueless star shared a series of photos and videos on Instagram of her vacation to Costa Rica with her son Bear, 12. Silverstone, 47, shares Bear with her ex-husband Christopher Jarecki.

In the Instagram carousel, Silverstone shared a selfie alongside Bear as the two explored the Arenal Volcano. A selfie showed the pair smiling for the camera in a forest while their jackets and hats were drenched by the pouring rain.

The actress also shared an image of her son walking across a thin suspended bridge in the forest — and holding on to the railings for safety!

In the final slide, she shared a video documenting the aggressive rainfall as she and Bear traveled across the bridge. She also panned to the expansive green forest and gray cloudy sky in the video.

"Soaked during our adventures exploring Arenal! From head to toe! 🌧️,” she began in the Instagram caption. “After being soaked for hours, we decided to head to the hot springs and be properly soaked. It was empty! We thought everybody would be there. Same thing at the pool! It was just us. We swam, laughed, and had so much fun. One of my favorite moments of our trip so far! 😍.”

Several fans couldn’t help but remark on the mother and son’s striking resemblance. “You guys have the same eyes! Just beautiful,” commented one user.

“That’s it! I’m off to my physician and then my optometrist! LOL. Double vision at its finest,” joked another user.

Others applauded their relationship. “I just love your posts with your son. You are a great and relatable mama, Alicia,” wrote one user.

Silverstone also shared a video from the rain-soaked hike on Monday, April 22, in celebration of Earth Day. In the post, and this time, Silverstone is seen walking solo on the bridge.

She walks toward the camera, her hands up in the rain, sporting her soaking-wet black rain jacket and a big grin.

“Still enjoyed it 😍 Rain or shine, I’ll always appreciate our world. Happy Earth Day! ☺️🌎 #EarthDay,” she wrote alongside the photo.

Days before The Crush star shared Instagram snaps from her Costa Rica trip, she posted images of various national parks she and Bear have toured over the years.

“We ❤️ our National Parks,” she began in the caption. “Since it’s National Park Week, I came across these photos from a trip we took in 2022 when Bear and I visited Yosemite National Park. Now I’m dreaming of our next national park adventure! Which park should we explore next?”
