Alec Baldwin weighs in on Newark airport fight video

Alec Baldwin has shared his thoughts on a viral video of a fight at Newark Liberty International Airport.

The video, which went viral Monday, shows a violent altercation between a United Airlines employee and a man believed to be former Denver Broncos cornerback Brendan Langley. The men trade strikes but it is unclear what or who started the altercation. Langley, however, was reportedly using an airport wheelchair to transport his luggage.

Police said Langley was arrested and charged with simple assault, according to TMZ. The employee has been fired.

“United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or onboard our planes and we are working with local authorities to further investigate this matter,” United Airlines said in a statement obtained by the Daily News.

Baldwin, or someone using his Instagram account, commented on a post about the fight.

“The guy working at the airport is the victim. He came to work to do a job. The other guy, with his big mouth, is guilty of workplace abuse, where people come to work with an expectation of safety, even civility. This a------ who hit this guy should be put on a no fly list.”

Baldwin in 2021 shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film “Rust” after his gun fired during rehearsal. The state of New Mexico fined the producers for firearm safety violations and a criminal investigation is ongoing.

Baldwin has denied responsibility for Hutchins’ death.
