New Albany's Braylen Nash joining Ohio State men's basketball as walk-on

New Albany guard Braylen Nash is joining Ohio State as a walk-on.

The prep senior averaged 17.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while leading the Eagles (20-5) to their first league championship in eight years. He was a member of The Dispatch's all-metro team and was also was named OCC-Ohio Player of the Year, first-team all-district and special mention all-state.

The Buckeyes still have one roster spot available for 2024-25. Nash's pending addition will not impact Ohio State's ability to add one more player on scholarship.
