Here are the top performers from the Gadsden area in high school football, volleyball and cross country for the week ending on Oct. 13:

Football

Albertville's Xavier Harris ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns in a 13-12 loss to Grissom.

Boaz's Tristan Childers ran for 90 yards and three touchdowns in a 63-35 loss to Arab.

Boaz's Presley Tant accounted for 80 total yards and ran for a score.

Boaz's Tyler Pierce went 14 of 25 for 190 yards while adding 35 yards and a score on the ground.

Cherokee County's Jacob Cornejo ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Fultondale.

Cherokee County's Tae Diamond ran for two touchdowns.

Cherokee County's Keyshawn Woods ran for 108 yards.

Collinsville's Mason McAteer threw and ran for a touchdown in a 56-0 win over Ider.

Collinsville's Quintavious Rogers ran for 143 yards and three scores, while returning a punt for a touchdown.

Coosa Christian's Joseph East ran for 121 yards and four touchdowns in a 94-7 win over Cedar Bluff.

Coosa Christian's Dylan Edwards caught three passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

Coosa Christian's John David Justus went 13 of 23 for 243 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 110 yards and another three scores.

Etowah's Corey Duncan ran for three touchdowns in a 49-14 win over Hanceville.

Etowah's Dayton Porter ran and caught a touchdown.

Etowah's Jamesson Scissum ran for and passed for a touchdown.

Fyffe's Logan Anderson ran the ball twice for 92 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Sand Rock.

Fyffe's Hunter Lantham ran twice for 65 yards and two scores.

Gadsden City's Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. had three touchdowns, a 90-yard interception return, a receiving touchdown and a 55-yard punt return in a 42-13 win over Mae Jemison.

Gadsden City's TJ Worthy had two touchdowns.

Gadsden City's Luke Waldrop threw three touchdowns.

Geraldine's Jaxon Colvin ran and passed for 100 yards while rushing for two scores and throwing another in a 30-7 win over Westbrook Christian.

Geraldine's Carlos Mann ran for 45 yards while catching a 53 yard touchdown pass.

Geraldine's Beck Wade intercepted three passes and returned one 102 yards for a touchdown.

Hokes Bluff's Anderson Morgan caught two touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Ohatchee.

Hokes Bluff's Blain Barron ran for 121 yards and two scores.

Hokes Bluff's Bryce Whitaker ran for a touchdown and passed for two more scores.

Piedmont's Trevor Pike ran the ball four times for 171 yards and three touchdowns in a 58-12 win over Glencoe.

Piedmont's Dontavious Jordan ran for 64 yards and two touchdowns.

Piedmont's William Gunn ran for two touchdowns.

Pisgah's Mason Holcomb threw for four touchdowns in a 54-13 win over North Sand Mountain.

Pisgah's Legion McCrary ran for a touchdown and forced a safety.

Pisgah's Landon Watkins caught two touchdowns.

Sardis's Blaze Gerhart had 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns while catching three passes for 54 yards in a 41-21 loss to Scottsboro.

West End's Rock Sainsbury ran for 277 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-24 win over Holly Pond.

West End's Kane Lawson ran for 108 yards and a touchdown.

Volleyball

Sand Rock's Katelyn St. Clair has 117 kills and 53 digs.

Sand Rock's Rylin St. Clair had 185 assists.

Sand Rock's Chloe Stephens had 115 digs.

Cross Country

Fort Payne's Kyndal Hughes ran a 19:38 to finish third in the Guntersville Invitational.

Fort Payne's Pablo Rodriguez won the Guntersville Invitational boys big school race with a time of 16:31.

Glencoe's Sarah Ponder won the PV Twilight Invitational with a time of 21:36.

Southside's Evan Christopher won the PV Twilight Invitational with a time of 16:31.

Sand Rock's Caleb Yoder ran a 16:15 to win the overall boys race at the Guntersville Invitational.
