Al Roker Celebrates Anniversary With Deborah Roberts With Heartfelt Tribute
Al Roker and Deborah Roberts are celebrating a major marriage milestone, and they had the sweetest notes to share with one another in honor of the occasion.
Today marks the couple's 28th wedding anniversary, and Roker was quick to make sure everyone knew.
Earlier today, Sept. 16, he took to Instagram with a series of wedding photos and more from throughout their lives together, adding a thoughtful note to his beloved wife in the caption.
"28 years ago, @debrobertsabc promised to be there for better, for worse, thick and thin," he wrote. "Good times and Bad. But the greatest gift is the family she has given me. Happy Anniversary, sweetheart."
But Roberts beat Roker to the punch, posting her heartfelt tribute to the Today Show meteorologist first this morning alongside another set of throwback photos from throughout their relationship.
"It’s been 28 years. Beginning with a few jitters, great excitement and hearts brimming with hope , we embarked on this journey," she began. "And it has been one great adventure. You are mine….I am yours. And where you are, I am too. Happy anniversary my dearest. Let’s keep making memories."
The sweet couple share kids Leila, 24, and son Nick, 21. Roker also has a 35-year-old daughter, Courtney, from a previous marriage, who recently welcomed the couple's first grandchild, Clara Sky.
Colleagues across the journalism industry jumped in to send their love, too, with Katie Couric writing, "Cute couple alert!!!😍."
"Happy Anniversary!!❤️❤️," Joy Bauer wrote.
"Amazing! Happy Anniversary 😍," said Ally Love.
