American Horror Story boss Ryan Murphy has cast Joshua Jackson in his next show.

According to Deadline, the Little Fires Everywhere and Mighty Ducks actor will both executive produce and play the lead role in Dr Odyssey on US network ABC, which received a straight-to-series order.

It's said to be a medical procedural taking place on a cruise ship, with Jackson's character using his charms to wrap people around his finger.
