‘AGT: Fantasy League’ Results Tonight: Who Survived Night 1 of the Semifinals

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League competition began the semifinals tonight with the first group of 10 of the 20 all-star artists who will compete for a shot at making it through to the finale and join Billy & Emily England, Ramadhani Brothers, Sainted and Sofie Dossi, who automatically made it through as Golden Buzzers from their respective judges Mel B, Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum.

In tonight's competition, one act will be put through each by Howie and Mel B, who have tonight's Golden Buzzers. Then a third act will move on based on the votes tabulated from the superfans.

What makes Fantasy League unique from the regular AGT show is for the first time in the franchise’s history, the judges chose their dream teams from a roster of acts voted on by America and then mentored them throughout the competition.

Tonight’s episode included an aerial act, a magician, a pole dancer, a comedian, several singers/musicians, and acrobats.

The winning act will receive a grand prize of $250,000 while their respective judge will earn bragging rights about guiding their contestant to being crowned the champion of AGT: Fantasy League.

Making it to the semifinals via the fan vote on night one of the audition shows were Kodi Lee, Kristy Sellars, Kseniya Simonova, Shadow Ace and V. Unbeatable. Then, on night two, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Grace Good, Preacher Lawson, Sheldon Riley and the Vardanyan Brothers were voted through. Night three’s semifinalists were Chapel Hart, Enkh-Erdene, Loren Allred, Pack Drumline and Yu Hojin, and night four’s semifinalists Aidan Bryant, Anna DeGuzman, Darci Lynne, Ghetto Kids, Musa Motha.

Heidi said: “It was absolute perfection. I am jealous that she’s on your Dream Team and not mine. You are such an amazing athlete. I love your imagination. It was beautiful.”

Mel B said: “The precision and how much time and energy and effort and rehearsal you had to put into that because everything was perfect. You did yourself proud.”

Simon said: “You sometimes think you’ve seen everything and then you see an act like that, and you go, ‘No, I haven’t seen everything because every part of that was perfection.’”

ACT 2: TEAM SIMON COWELL

Simon said: “Wow! Wow! Wow! Loren, that’s what I call a Masterclass. That’s how you do it.”

Heidi said: “I think I can speak for everyone in this room, but you were giving us all the feels. You just sounded so beautiful.”

Mel B said: “You have a voice that is to die for literally. You could sing absolutely anything. If I was your mentor, I would have picked a different song because you could have had everybody crying.”

ACT 3: TEAM HEIDI

Heidi said: “You know Aidan, I get choked up every time I see you perform. I know how much you want it. You are absolutely unbelievable.”

Mel B said: “I’m speechless.”

Simon said: “I think this performance is in a league of its own. Genuinely. It was dangerous, it was brilliant, and it was … just your imagination.”

Mel interrupted Simon by hitting her Golden Buzzer and stealing Aidan from Heidi and sending him to the finale. She told Heidi, “I had to, I’m sorry. I was literally speechless, and I think I still am. My Golden Buzzer speaks for itself. You’re just incredible.”

ACT 4: TEAM HEIDI

Heidi said: “You are a class act. Your voice is so beautiful, so smoothing. It felt like Michael Bublé. I could listen to you 24/7.”

Simon said: “I wish the track had been more exciting. For me, it was a bit lounge-y."

Howie said: “I don’t disagree with Simon. To be honest with you, only one act is going to go through other than the Golden Buzzers. This sounds like I was on a cruise. This wasn’t worth $250,000."

ACT 5: TEAM HOWIE

Magician

Howie said: “You took a big risk tonight. She did a smaller illusion which as amazing.”

Heidi said: “I don’t know if I loved it as much today. It was a lot of talking and some of the talking I didn’t love so much. What you said to Mel hurt me a little bit. I really, really like you and that did not make me like you so much.”

To which Anna responded, “I thought we were both joking with each other.”

And Simon jumped in and said, “I think Anna was kidding around. However, I don’t think you had the best assistant in the world and then the reveals didn’t feel like that big of a reveal.”

Mel said: “I really like you.”

Anna said: “I really like you, too. I hope you know I was joking.”

Mel continued: “That went over my head. I was looking at what you were doing, and I think it was really good, so good for you.”

Then when Anna was offstage, Heidi said, "I thought that was mean to you." And Mel said, "I didn't listen to it."

Backstage, Anna, who is prone to nerves, said, "The pressure got to me. I got really intimidated by all the other championship acts that went before me. I hope I get another chance."

Mel said: “This was so nerve-wracking. I feel physically sick. But you did it!”

Howie said: “Sometimes when it doesn’t go perfectly, then we see how tough it is. And you didn’t give up; you tried again.”

Mel interrupted to say, “I wish I had my Golden Buzzer right now.”

Simon told the brothers: “I think you are completely and utterly nuts. And that’s a compliment. But hats off to you because you carried on.”

ACT 7: TEAM MEL

Howie said: “I got to say you’re incredibly talented, you were incredibly joyful but the guy with the headband, you are a superstar.”

Heidi said: I love the vibe that you bring to the stage so much. All the faces of every single one of you.” And she threw a kiss.

Simon said: “There’s a lot of pressure when you’re at this stage in the competition and then to perform to your own song as well, I don’t know what it was but there was a little magic potent in there because, to me, this was everything this show should be.”

ACT 8: TEAM SIMON

Musician

Simon said: “Oh, Kodi, gosh, I’m all emotional now. You wrote that song for your mum, obviously, and Tina you are like a little lioness, aren’t you? You’ve always been by his side, and this is the second time in a row that Kodi’s singing his own material and it’s a step up. I am so proud of him.”

Heidi said: “What a beautiful love letter to your mother. It doesn’t get more heartfelt than what you’ve just done. It was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.”

Howie said: “What a gift to AGT, what a gift to talent. Kodi Lee, you are the biggest gift I’ve ever experienced on this stage. I believe everybody on my Dream Team has what it takes to make it to the end, but I can always use more.” So saying, Howie pressed the Golden Buzzer moving Kodi into the finale on his team, stealing him from Simon, causing Tina to say, “We don’t want to leave Simon.”

ACT 9: TEAM HOWIE

Howie said: “I’m really upset because I used my Golden Buzzer. To be honest with you, I’m just proud. No other act is harder to do than somebody baring their soul, baring their sense of humor, no music, no fire, no nothing, it’s just you and your mom is in the room.”

Heidi said: “I think you’re the funniest comedian we’ve ever had. I really do and I have always had a really hard time with comedians but with you I always laugh, and I love the jeggings.”

Mel said: “You know I adore you, don’t you? I was just saying before you came out, ‘I cannot wait to belly laugh.’ And you did not disappoint. You had me smiling and laughing hysterically.”

Simon said: “Preacher, you are just brilliant at what you do. I’ve never heard you repeat an act. It really shows me that you’ve gone out on the road to build up a base and that’s hard work. I’ve always thought something more is going to come your way and maybe this is it.”

ACT 10: TEAM SIMON

Simon said: “I could jump on this desk with excitement. Ever since we worked together, this group has so much talent, so much ambition, the crazy thing is you told me you feel like the underdogs in this competition. I have a feeling an underdog could win this year.”

Mel said: “I did see a few things that timing-wise were a little bit off and one of you lost their stick – I see everything. Having said that, I’m really pissed at myself that I don’t have my Golden Buzzer because I would have given you it because you’re energy and your enthusiasm is off the charts. It really is.”

Howie said: “Out of all the acts we’ve seen on this show, you seem the most in it to win it. You have the most energy, the most heart, amazing.”

Then host Terry Crews announced the Top 3 acts: The Vardanyan Brothers, Pack Drumline and Loren Allred. The act finishing in third place was the Vardanyan Brothers, second place went to Loren Allred, and the act voted through to the finale by the AGT superfans was Pack Drumline.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and next day on Peacock.
