‘AGT: Fantasy League’ Results Tonight: Who Survived Night 2 of the Semifinals

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League competition wrapped up the semifinals tonight with the second group of 10 of the 20 all-star artists competing for a shot at making it through to the finale in hopes of joining Billy & Emily England, Ramadhani Brothers, Sainted and Sofie Dossi, who automatically made it through as Golden Buzzers from their respective judges Mel B, Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum.

Also making the finals after last week’s semifinal performances were Pack Drumline, who were voted through by America, and Aidan Bryant and Kodi Lee, Mel B. and Howie’s respective Golden Buzzers from the night.

In tonight's competition, one act was put through each by Simon and Heidi, who had tonight's Golden Buzzers. Then a third act moved into the finale based on the votes tabulated from the superfans.

What makes Fantasy League unique from the regular AGT show is for the first time in the franchise’s history, the judges chose their dream teams from a roster of acts voted on by America and then mentored them throughout the competition.

Tonight’s episode included an aerial act, a magician, a dog act, several singers/musicians, a sand artist, a shadow puppet artist and dancers.

The winning act will receive a grand prize of $250,000 while their respective judge will earn bragging rights about guiding their contestant to being crowned the champion of AGT: Fantasy League.

Making it to the semifinals via the fan vote on night one of the audition shows were Kodi Lee, Kristy Sellars, Kseniya Simonova, Shadow Ace and V. Unbeatable. Then, on night two, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Grace Good, Preacher Lawson, Sheldon Riley and the Vardanyan Brothers were voted through. Night three’s semifinalists were Chapel Hart, Enkh-Erdene, Loren Allred, Pack Drumline and Yu Hojin, and night four’s semifinalists Aidan Bryant, Anna DeGuzman, Darci Lynne, Ghetto Kids, Musa Motha.

Heidi said: “That lit my fire. You delivered the danger and the beauty, all of it together. Your facial expressions, your body movements, I’m sitting here thinking this is so hot. It’s insane.”

Howie said: “Of all the times I’ve seen you, that was by far the best performance, the most exciting, the most beautiful.”

Mel said: “That was so slick and well-rehearsed, I don’t think it could have gone any better.”

ACT 2: TEAM HOWIE

Mel B said: “I understood the story from beginning to end. I understood absolutely everything and this makes much more sense to me when you’re telling a story that means something to you. It was really, really special.”

Howie said: “It’s such a real, great story. Such a great piece of art and the best compliment I can give you is Mel B understood every moment of it.”

Simon said: “It’s so unique, so beautiful.”

ACT 3: TEAM HEIDI

Singer -- no puppets, no ventriloquism

Heidi said: “I think as an artist you have to follow your own instincts. You have to not listen to the noise anymore and just do what’s in your gut. That is maybe a risk, but it’s what you wanted and you did it.”

Howie said: “As human beings we have many sides. You’re standing by a guy [Terry Crews] who is not just a host but an artist and an athlete, a motivational speaker. You’re a singer, you’re a ventriloquist. Thank you for sharing another side.”

Simon said: “A couple of weeks ago Darci did less of the ventriloquism and more of the singing, and we said, ‘We think that’s a big mistake.’ And so, you completely disregarded our advice, threw away the puppet and decided to come out and do it yourself. But you know what? I always believe the most successful people in life are the people that make their own decisions and don’t listen to other people. Good for you for sticking with your guns.”

ACT 4: TEAM SIMON

Simon said: “Mousa, we met in the U.K. I will never forget the moment I saw you. It was one of those moments where you go, ‘I will never forget that.’ There’s something so amazing about you. I was looking around and everyone was captivated. I don’t think the final would be good without you and I want to give you a little hand.” And so saying, Simon pressed his Golden Buzzer.

ACT 5: TEAM MEL

Mel said: “I really think you took it to the next level because I could hear the emotion in your voice. I’m really happy.”

Heidi said: “I love how bold your fashion is. I love that there’s a lot of art in you standing there singing. I feel like you give us a little extra and I like extra.”

Howie said: “I think you’re one of the best singers we’ve heard on this show but tonight, I thought that was way off. Rather than hitting the notes, you were hitting volume. You stayed in one plane. I think you’re better than that. I don’t think that was your best.”

ACT 6: TEAM SIMON

Dog Act

Simon said, “That was absolutely amazing. To come up with something different every single time that’s tough. I’m so happy you’re back.”

Mel said: “That was a joy to watch, and I didn’t know you could move that good. Karate stuff. Very fit indeed. I loved it.”

Howie said: “It was great. Not only were you exciting and different, you definitely stepped it up. I think that was the best performance yet tonight.”

ACT 7: TEAM HEIDI

Magician

Heidi said: “I think you’re absolutely incredible. You always invent something new with your magic. You are not just doing card tricks. Last time you had the airplanes, this time you had the roses, I love that you keep changing things up. You keep surprising us with your magic.”

Mel B said: “I like that you told a story, but I didn’t quite get it.”

Howie said: “I got it. Mel and four people in the audience were confused. The five of them didn’t get it but whether or not you were confused, you saw that he plucked the petals, the petals disappeared, and they came back.”

ACT 8: TEAM SIMON

CHAPEL HART
AGT S17 – Fifth Place
Country Music Group

Simon said: “This is the second time that the girls have written their own song and that says a lot about them. That says, in my opinion, that you are the real deal. Since we first met you all those few years ago, I think you got better and better and better. This is so important to them. I think they deserve this shot to get into the finals. I genuinely do.”

Mel said: “Country pop is not usually my go-to music but you’ve made me fall in love with this genre of music. It’s happy; it’s feel good, and to say you’ve written your own song, you have everything in there that I love in a song. You’ve got your harmonies, your breakdown, your story, your lyrics, brilliant.”

Howie said: “You guys are amazing. I think there’s no question why you’re having the success you are having. I think you hit and struck a chord here. I wish you the best of luck.”

Heidi said: “I literally sit here, and I think, ‘Did I just see that?’ It’s so insane. It almost doesn’t seem real what all of you do. It’s like some movie that we’re watching and it’s so crazy what you do. It’s absolutely unbelievable and I love all of you.”

Mel said: “What just happened! Your dance routine, your timing and your music, it’s incredible.”

Simon said: “It’s a really difficult act to get right: timing, talent, showmanship, the desire to win, it’s everything.”

Howie said: “This is my favorite act of all time. I’ve never been more excited because you’re on Team Howie.”

Heidi interrupted to say, “No, you’re not anymore.” And she pushed the Golden Buzzer.

ACT 10: TEAM HOWIE

Howie said: “We are looking for all the acts to step it up, you stepped it up. I think that was your funniest, best routine yet.”

Heidi said: “It is so simple what you do yet it has such a big effect. It was so funny.”

Mel said: “It was really exciting. I didn’t want that to stop. The way you do it all is so fun and entertaining. Brilliant.”

Then host Terry Crews announced the Top 3 acts: Adrian Stoica & Hurricane, Kseniya Simonova and Shadow Ace. The act finishing in third place was the Kseniya Simonova, second place went to Adrian Stoica & Hurricane, and the act voted through to the finale by the AGT superfans audience was Shadow Ace.

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League finale airs Monday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and next day on Peacock.
