After a few months of silence, Deshaun Watson trade rumors are once again making headlines.

Watson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, claims that NFL teams are ready to trade for his client despite the ongoing investigation for sexual misconduct.

“Teams are ready to jump now if the Texans would trade with them, even while all this is pending,” Hardin told ESPN’s John Barr. “There’s no question that teams, numerous teams, are still interested. The ball is in the Texans’ court.”

ESPN insider Adam Schefter had an update on how Houston is handling this situation. Though the Texans have seemingly moved on from Watson, they haven’t had any significant trade discussions yet.

“The Houston Texans have not gotten down to where they have fielded offers from other teams,” Schefter said on ESPN’s Get Up. “As of this morning, they still have not reached out to other teams to say ‘What’s your best offer?’ And obviously that’s the football standpoint. There’s [also] the legal standpoint and the 22 civil lawsuits that are hanging over this entire situation and issue with Deshaun Watson, which obviously complicates the football side of things.”

All we really know at this time is that Houston wants at least three first-round picks in exchange for Watson.

Teams like the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles have the assets to acquire Watson via trade, but his legal situation makes this a very complicated situation.

Do you think Deshaun Watson will be trade this offseason?
