How to get active with Local Motion's Bike, Walk and Wheel event

Columbia organization Local Motion is encouraging the community to get active with its 22nd annual Bike, Walk and Wheel weeklong celebration starting Saturday.

"The weeklong series of events encourage community members to be more active by walking, biking, using a wheelchair, or riding the bus," Local Motion said in a news release, noting it was created in partnership with then Columbia Mayor Darwin Hindman in 2002.

All Bike, Walk and Wheel events are free except for Bikes and Brews, which needs tickets. More information about all events is available through the Bike, Walk, and Wheel event page on the Local Motion website.
