Just last week, star quarterback Aaron Rodgers made his return to the Green Bay Packers after threatening to never play for the team again.

Rodgers’ return to the team was reportedly contingent on a few things. He wanted a re-worked contract that will allow him to become a free agent at some point after the 2021 season.

He also wanted the Packers to trade for wide receiver Randall Cobb. While the Packers gave him both of those things, there is one move Green Bay did not pull off this offseason.

The team let All-Pro center Corey Linsley go in free agency. On Wednesday afternoon, Rodgers made it clear he still misses his former center. The reigning NFL MVP had a blunt comment for rookie center Josh Myers.

“So apologies to Corey, but there’s nobody I enjoy riding and teasing more than Corey Linsley,” Rodgers said.

Linsley signed a five-year, $62.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Chargers after the Packers decided not to bring him back.

Now Rodgers is trying to break in a new center. Myers is a former Ohio State star who was billed as one of the top interior offensive linemen in the 2021 NFL draft.

We’ll have to wait and see if he can live up to Rodgers’ lofty standards.
