Aaron Rodgers did not show up to voluntary OTAs or mandatory minicamp, so he’s meeting a lot of new teammates for the first time at training camp.

The MVP quarterback has officially reported for the 2021 season in Green Bay. Rodgers and the Packers were able to work out their differences and come together for at least one more regular season before a potential breakup in 2022.

Rodgers admitted it a was a little weird on Day 1 in Green Bay. He is used to being around his teammates for most of the offseason, but that wasn’t the case this year. Rodgers stayed away from all Packers activities until showing up for training camp.

In an interview with the NFL Network, Rodgers named one of his new teammates that is standing out the most.

“I gotta say the center, Josh Myers. For a guy to come in as a draft pick, as a rookie, to be that comfortable, it’s pretty impressive,” Rodgers said of the first-year center.

Myers, a first-year center out of Ohio State, was a second round pick by the Packers in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Rodgers has pretty good history with centers out of Ohio State. Former Buckeyes star Corey Linsley was his center for several seasons in Green Bay. Linsley signed a big contract with the Los Angeles Chargers this offseason.
