Dolly Parton and Other Iconic Singers Just Released a Song for the Movie '80 for Brady'

Instead, 80 for Brady contains an all-star cast including Sally Field, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Lily Tomlin. Plus, it's produced by legendary quarterback Tom Brady (hence the name)! No, this one tells the hilarious true story of four 80-something BFFs and New England Patriots fans who make it their mission to watch Tom Brady play in 2017's Super Bowl LI. But their journey to score tickets is anything but ordinary—or wholesome, for that matter!
Is there a soundtrack?
Yes! And it's lead single, "Gonna Be You," features none other than Dolly Parton herself. Written by award-winning song writer Diane Warren—she was able to convince Parton and a bunch of other iconic singers from the 1980's to jump on board for the track. Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, and Debbie Harry are all featured on the single.
“I wanted to write a song that celebrated these women’s deep friendship,” Warren reportedly said. “Since 80 was in the title I got a crazy idea: Why not get some of the most iconic singers from the '80s, who are still amazing and always will be, to all sing it?”
