77-year-old woman killed in South Lebanon Township hit and run

A 77-year-old woman has died in a hit and run in South Lebanon Township.

South Lebanon Township Police were dispatched to Eastfield Drive Tuesday at approximately 7:37 a.m. for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the pedestrian, identified as a 77-year-old woman who resided in a neighboring housing development, was deceased.

The driver of the striking vehicle fled from the area with the vehicle without stopping, according to a news release. The driver and the vehicle were located by police at a later time.

South Lebanon Township Police did not respond to requests for comment from the Lebanon Daily News.
