At that price, you can add a new game to your collection every few weeks to stem the cries of “I’m bored” all summer. We love this giant yard Pong game and this 3-foot tall inflatable soccer ball, just $5 each.

Freeze-Dried Candy
You can find an eclectic assortment of candy at Five Below, including the freeze-dried candy that’s recently gone viral on TikTok. Snag a 1.5-ounce bag of Sow Good freeze-dried sour worms for $5. We found 2 oz. packages of freeze-dried candy listed online at Walmart for $4.98, but it’s often difficult to find candy in stock. Five Below always seems to have a solid supply and a variety of choices.
Phone Power Banks
Summer vacations and trips to the beach (or theme parks) often mean you’ll need a portable power bank to keep your phone running all day. You can get a 5000mAh slim rechargeable power bank for just $5.95, which is $4 less than a heyday brand 4000 mAh power bank from Target.
Pet Toys
Find a whole collection of pet toys, including this fun quad rope dog toy for hours of tugging fun, for just $3. Cats will appreciate this 16-inch scratching tower for just $5.55. We’ve seen similar items at Target for $30.
Bug Zapper Racket
Keep bugs at bay all summer with this battery-operated bug zapper racket, just $5. We found a similar item at Walmart for $8, which means you’ll save $3 at Five Below.
Lip Balm and Lip Gloss
Five Below offers fun, flavored lip balm, as well as the high-quality Burt’s Bees brand, all for $5 or less. You can get an 8-pack of candy-flavored lip balms for $5, less than $1 per gloss. Comparable products sell for $12 at CVS and Walmart.
Coloring Books
Younger children will be delighted to take a break from screen time when you offer them a classic coloring book with beloved characters. Comparable Disney coloring books sell for $1.25 at Dollar Tree, so you’re better off stocking up for the summer at Five Below. Choices at Five Below include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Toy Story, and the Disney Princesses. It’s worth noting that Walmart sells similar coloring books for 97 cents, but they only have 64 pages, rather than 80 pages in the jumbo books from Five Below.
