7 Fan-Favorite Aldi Pizza Hacks to Upgrade Pizza Night

Aldi Pizza Hacks

Whether you're saving up to buy holiday gifts or just over this economy, Aldi is a treasure trove of bargains, like cookies that give Girl Scouts a run for their money and gigantic packages of white-aged cheddar. Even non-grocery items are *chef's kiss,* like the recent 50-piece food storage kit that you could grab for less than $10.

The food storage kit was a limited-edition Aldi Find, but one Aldi deal you can find all the time are the refrigerated 16-inch take-and-bake pizzas in five flavors: pepperoni, five cheese, supreme, thin crust mega meat and sausage and pepperoni. The most delicious part? The pies cost less than $5 and make four to six servings (depending on your definition of a serving).

Over in the Aldi Subreddit, Aldi super fans are buzzing about the best ways to upgrade this super affordable dinner option. We took a jog through the comments to pick up some tips for upgrading our 'za. One Redditor got the pizza party started with a photo.

Honestly, the photo says it all, but the original poster (OP) topped Reddit off with some relatable context—as well as some sliced mushrooms and black olives—which we assume also came from Aldi.

"My Aldi pizza," wrote u/FlyOnTheWall221. "Take and Bake with toppings. I love the value. We definitely would not be eating well if not for Aldi in this economy."

The OP is in good company on Reddit. Other fans adore Aldi's Take and Bake Pizzas (and Aldi, more generally).

"I got the pepperoni one yesterday (lil boys slumber party) for $4.99," wrote one person. "I couldn't believe everyone was full for 5 bucks— Great value and arguably the best pizza I've ever pulled out of my oven."

That's high praise given the large tummies (and lack of filters) small kids have (iykyk). Though the pies come as they are, Redditors are personalizing their pies with extra toppings and have discovered genius ways to store and heat them.

Here's what you need to know to upgrade your pizza night ASAP.

The 7 Best Aldi Take-and-Bake Pizza Hacks, According to Reddit

We combed through the nearly 40 comments to find the top Aldi take-and-bake pizza tricks worth trying at home.

1. Drizzle the pizza with hot honey.
2. Top a cheese pizza with red onions, green peppers and chopped up Aldi red-bag chicken.
3. Finish your favorite pie with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano and extra mozzarella.
4. Switch the pepperoni with sausage.
5. Broil the pizza at the end for browned cheese, a crispy top crust and pepperoni that have those delicious fried edges.
6. Freeze leftover slices between pieces of parchment paper, then reheat in the air fryer.
7. This tip is smart, but a little hard to explain, so we'll let the commenter do the honors. "To conserve paper, put it between two slices with the cheese facing each other—that way, you only need four slivers of paper," the person recommended. "The flour back of each slice won't stick to the flour back of another slice."
