We can always count on Denise Austin to deliver quick and easy workouts that, well, work. Her latest share does just that. A follower asked about her favorite exercises for “leaning out thighs,” and she responded with a demonstration of three “quick” and “effective” firming and toning thigh exercises.

In the video, Austin starts by demonstrating a back lunge-front kick. Beginning in a standing position with her hands on her hips, she puts one foot behind her, squatting into a brief lunge. Then, she pivots off the back foot and pushes it out in front of her. “You’re actually working the entire thigh muscle,” she said. “It also works the leg you’re standing on. You’re firming and toning from head to toe.”

For her next move, to “really work the inner and outer thighs,” Austin stands in a wide-legged position, leaning into one side, bending the knee into a squat. Pushing off that leg, she then straightens and lifts it up and out to the side, raising her arms into a T shape. “Push and lift up,” she instructs.

Her last favorite aims to “really work the buttocks and the back of the thighs,” she said. It might be the trickiest of the three, as it takes a bit of balance. But, standing on one leg, she puts her hands on her hips and hinges forward, simultaneously lifting the other leg behind her—similar to a warrior three pose in yoga. “You’re going to lift up and down,” she said, touching her lifted toes down to the mat before immediately lifting them back up. “These will really lean out the back of your legs,” she said.

In her caption, Austin asked followers to incorporate the simple moves into their exercise routines. “Let me know how you feel!!” she wrote. “I know you’ll love your results!!”

People thanked her for the fitness wisdom. “Thank you! I could definitely do those today!” one user commented. “Gotta try this!👏🔥” another added. “So very helpful,” someone else wrote.

Moving your body doesn’t have to be complicated or confusing. And Austin’s go-to routines are a great reminder of that.
