60+ Shows That Have Ended in 2022 (So Far) — Which Will You Miss Most?

As yet another fall TV season approaches, bringing a fresh wave of potential favorite shows, we’re giving one last glance in the rearview to the dozens of TV shows that have ended thus far this year.

More than 60 series have already aired their final episodes in 2022, many of them on their own terms: Long-running staples like AMC’s Better Call Saul, NBC’s This Is Us and Netflix’s Grace and Frankie all got to say a proper goodbye, as did daytime veterans like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and PBS’ beloved Arthur.

But many other shows weren’t quite as lucky. In the spring, CBS’ B Positive, The CW’s Naomi and NBC’s Mr. Mayor were among the broadcast series to get their runs cut short. And streaming services have also enlisted the Grim Reaper on several occasions, leading to the cancellations of shows like Netflix’s First Kill and HBO Max’s Made for Love. (Speaking of Netflix, it currently leads the pack with 15 concluded shows so far this year, among them Steve Carell’s axed comedy Space Force and the comic book adaptation Locke & Key.)

NOTE: Our list does not include a) shows that were cancelled this year but aired their final episodes in 2021 or earlier (Paramount+’s Why Women Kill, for example), or b) shows that announced a final season this year but won’t wrap up until 2023 or later (such as The CW’s The Flash).

Scroll through the photos below to reflect on this year’s swan songs so far — which we’ll keep updating as 2022 rolls on — then hit the comments with the show(s) you’ll miss most.
