'60 Minutes' profile on Raimondo will air Sunday. Here's how to watch.

PROVIDENCE - A "60 Minutes" profile of former Rhode Island Governor - and current U.S. Commerce Secretary - Gina Raimondo is scheduled to air this Sunday.

The long-running CBS show posted notice of its plan to air the interview, conducted months back by Lesley Stahl in part at the Rhode Island State House, on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

"Since taking office as the U.S. Secretary of Commerce under the Biden administration, Gina Raimondo has turned the second-tier agency into a center of national security, manufacturing, and job creation," the post says.

What will the profile cover?

The perspective: "Secretary Gina Raimondo is a fast rising star in the Democratic Party, enforcing large parts of our tough China trade policy, while working to create millions of new jobs here in the U.S.," according to the intro by Stahl.

How to watch

According to the 60 Minutes website, there are two ways to watch the profile:

  • Sunday, April 21 at 7 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+

  • Tuesday, April 23 at 8 p.m. ET, on the CBS News app
