6 members of Haitian Special Olympics delegation disappear from Florida hotel

Sheriff’s deputies in Osceola County, Fla., are searching for six members of the Haitian Special Olympics team’s delegation who disappeared from their hotel in Kissimmee.

The group was last seen at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando around 2:30 p.m. on Monday. They had turned their keys back over to the hotel but left behind their luggage and personal items, the sheriff’s office said.

Foul play is not believed to be a factor, authorities said.
