The 5 most expensive homes sold in April in Vanderburgh County included an $800K property

Vanderburgh County's five most-expensive home sales in April included several properties close to McCutchanville and near Mesker Park Zoo.

A total of 310 homes were sold in April, a decrease from the previous month's total of 364. The biggest sale came in at $800,000, a decrease from March's top seller, which brought in $1 million.

Here's a look at the five most expensive home sales for April 2023, according to the Vanderburgh County Assessor's Office:

Located in McCutchville, this brick, five-bedroom home offers a private escape on an enclosed lot nestled in the woods.

The main floor opens to a curved staircase and half bath. The large dining rooms host a bar with a granite top that leads to the new custom chef's kitchen with a 15-foot, white-granite bar top, oversized gas burner range, built-in oven, and other brand new appliances.
