5-month-old girl dies after being run over by vehicle in Bonduel
BONDUEL – A 5-month old baby girl died Wednesday evening after being run over by a vehicle at a residence in Bonduel, according to the Shawano County Sheriff's Office.
Around 5:30 p.m. Wednedsay, Shawano County dispatch received a 911 call that the infant had been run over.
When first responders arrived, CPR was in progress on the baby. Bonduel Emergency Medical Services and Shawano Ambulance arrived, and requested a ThedaStar helicopter.
The baby was airlifted to a hospital in Green Bay, where she was pronounced dead.
The baby's parents and driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the incident and are cooperating with law enforcement, according to the sheriff's office.
An investigation is ongoing, and no additional information will shared at this time, the sheriff's office said.
