Mark our words: 2024 is the year of the accessory. From handbags that are bigger (literally) and better than ever (see: the Margaux carryall craze from The Row) to the revival of statement belts and Bayonetta glasses—more on that in a second—accessorizing has never been this exciting. And you know what they say: Your eyes are the windows to the soul, so why not dress ‘em up, shall we? Sunglasses can be such a fun way to spruce up your look, but with an overwhelming number of styles to select from and things to consider, such as the silhouette (rectangle, oval, cat eye, etc.) color, material and lens, choosing a new pair can feel like a *lot*. 1. Not Your Average Aviators

Those quintessential specs that fighter pilots wear are going to be everywhere this spring and summer, but with a fresh and modern twist. We predict we’ll be seeing edgy and funky takes on the style, from double bridges and top-bar frames to metal and acetate finishes. And we’ll likely see them in square, teardrop and rounded shapes—nothing is off limits. As we saw during the Chloé fall 2024 ready-to-wear runway, this groovy take on a classic is easier to wear than you might think. Style it with a blazer and jeans for a relaxed vibe, or lean into the cowboy core trend with some good ‘ole cowboy boots.
