At 37, Issa Rae's Abs Are Sculpted AF In A Bikini In Her IG Travel Pics

Issa Rae is absolutely not about to miss out on some summertime fun. The 37-year-old actress posted a slew of photos from her summer travels, and she is super fit and fly AF.

Issa as been a bit of a globetrotter, and according to her Instagram, she knows she's living the life rn. There are a few pics of her with her toned abs on full display in a high-waisted bikini, soaking up some warm summer sun, and another in an orange bra top with those same strong abs showing. And you can see her incredibly strong legs in a pair of super cute denim cut-offs.

“Miami! Cannes! New Orleans! Amalfi! Florence! Not Even Done! Can’t Stop Won’t Stop! Summer Sh!t,” she captioned the set of photos. It’s giving Lady Gaga on tour. But seriously, Issa is doing us a full-on fashion show with her verified international photo dump.

Obviously, I am not the only one noticing Issa’s stunning ~lewks~. Her comments section was filled with love from friends and fans.

So, how does Issa balance all that vacation time with her fitness goals? The actress told Women's Health all about her best health hacks back in 2019 after she lost what she jokingly called “new money weight.”

“When you get a good job, you’re like, ‘I can afford to eat at restaurants all the time!’ That adds up in weight," she said. "Time to work out is so limited, but when I first started seeing myself on TV, I was like, ‘I gotta make time.'"

For Issa, that time comes EARLY. She goes for runs in her neighborhood at the crack of dawn and sets her alarm for 4:55 a.m. on workout days. “I exercise for, like, an hour each day. My neighborhood has a bunch of hills, so it’s walking up hills. Then I alternate between walking and jogging. I hate jogging—you’re going in circles, but I recognize that it helps," she told WH.

As for her diet, Issa is “paleo-leaning” after being a vegetarian for 15 years. “I just started cooking Senegalese food, which I’m really excited about," she told WH. Her inspiration in the kitchen comes from watching her mother learn to cook new recipes inspired by her Senegalese father. Love a family recipe!
