31 wrestlers with New Jersey ties have qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Here's the full list

Thirty-one wrestlers with New Jersey ties automatically qualified for the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships this past weekend through the seven conference tournaments.

Eight won conference championships. Four champions came from the EIWA Tournament and two were from Rider University in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.

Rutgers University had seven qualifiers out of the Big Ten Tournament, including 133-pound champion Dylan Shawver; Rider had four qualifiers and Princeton three.

Cornell, coached by former Delbarton four-time state champion Mike Grey, had six wrestlers qualify with New Jersey ties, including two conference champions.

The national tournament will take place March 21-23 in Kansas City.

Additional wrestlers with New Jersey ties could be added Tuesday when the NCAA Wrestling Committee selects the 47 at-large berths. The tournament will be seeded Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Each of the 10 weight classes will have 33 wrestlers. Automatic berths went to 283 wrestlers.
