3 wounded, including 2 kids, in Philadelphia stabbing

A stabbing in Philadelphia on Sunday left three people hospitalized, including two children, police said.

A 10-year-old boy sustained stab wounds to his head and leg; a 15-year-old boy was stabbed twice in his head; and an adult woman suffered multiple wounds to her body, according to NBC10 Philadelphia, which cited authorities.

The incident occurred on the 3200 block of Knorr Street, officials said.

Philadelphia Police have not identified any of the victims, nor have they publicly named a suspect.

A man turned himself in to police before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in connection with the incident — about three hours after the stabbing occurred, NBC10 Philadelphia reported.

The woman, whom police said was in her 30s, was reportedly in critical condition after being taken to Frankford Torresdale Hospital, while the boys were said to be stable after arriving at the same medical facility.

Authorities haven’t shared any potential motives or said whether the suspect knew any of the victims. It’s unclear if the victims knew each other.

Officials with the Philadelphia Police Department did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.
