Three adults have been charged in a senseless attack on a teenage Chili’s hostess who refused to let their large group sit together because of her employer’s coronavirus restrictions, Louisiana authorities said Friday.

The suspects are among a dozen or so women who flew into a violent rage when the victim denied their request to sit at a single table Saturday in Baton Rouge, according to police.

The hostess, 17-year-old Kelsy Wallace, was taken to the hospital for treatment and received five stitches above her eye, she told news outlets.

Following an investigation and review of surveillance video, police on Thursday arrested three family members in connection with the attack. Tammy Dabney, 48, was charged with aggravated second-degree battery and Erika Dabney, 46, was charged with simple battery and disturbing the peace.

The third relative, 27-year-old Rodneka Dabney, was issued a summons for simple battery and disturbing the peace.

Wallace, who was working at the restaurant to save money for college, said she was just trying to do her job and avoid getting in trouble with her managers.

The company has indefinitely banned parties of six or more guests from sitting at a single table to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

But the Dabneys and their group were not having it and became increasingly irate at the hostess, launching into a chilling attack on the young employee, the teen recalled.

“So I’m standing there, they’re on me, beating me,” Wallace told local station WBRZ in an interview this week.

“I’m standing there trying to hit them, trying to get all of them off me,” she said. “And the lady, she takes a ‘wet floor’ sign and slams it in my eye. And I had blood gushing everywhere.”

The attackers eventually let her go and fled the scene in separate cars before police arrived.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said the investigation is ongoing.
