3 people injured and a car was split in half in Dania Beach crash, deputies say

Three people were injured in a Dania Beach crash that left a car split in half, deputies said.

The two-car crash happened around 11 a.m. Friday near the 3000 block of Griffin Road in Dania Beach, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. The force of the crash sent one of the cars into a nearby light pole, which split the car in half, deputies said.

Three people were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening, deputies said.

No other details were immediately available.
