3 injured, 1 critically, in Saturday night shooting at Fort Worth nightclub, police say

Three people were wounded, one critically, in a shooting at a south Fort Worth nightclub Saturday night, according to police.

Officers were sent to the El Mecate Club, at 4010 Hemphill St., around 11 p.m. Saturday, when a caller told 911 someone had been shot. When they arrived, the officers found three people had been shot. One man was taken to a hospital in critical condition and the two others had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said no suspects are in custody. No suspects have been publicly identified by police.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
