3 Bradley runners compete this weekend at the NCAA track and field regionals

Three track and field athletes from Bradley will compete this week in the NCAA West regional at the University of Arkansas.

Jack Crull, Julia Nielsen and Nadia Potgieter hit the track Wednesday through Saturday at the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field West Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Advancers from this regional and the east regional in Lexington, Kentucky, advance to the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 5-8 in Eugene, Oregon.

Across both regionals, the Missouri Valley Conference will send 50 individual events and four relays.

  • Event: Men's 1500 meters, his 3:40.83 seeded 19th of 49 runners.

  • When does he run? First round is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. If he advances, the quarterfinals are 5:15 p.m. Friday.

  • Event: Women's 800 run, her 2:00.99 seeded fifth of 49 runners.

  • When does she run? First round is scheduled for 7:50 p.m. Thursday. If she advances, the quarterfinals are 7:05 p.m. Saturday.

Nadia Potgieter

  • Event: Women's 5,000 run, her 16:10.41 seeded 48th of 48 runners.

  • When does she run? The semifinals are 8:10 p.m. Saturday.
