A $3.2 million permit for city water treatment plant tops latest building permit list

LANCASTER − The Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission recently granted the city a $3.2 million permit for the south water treatment plant at 4600 Sugar Grove Road SE. The city wants to change the treatment method to a sodium hypochlorite system.

Here are other recent permits the RPC granted:

  • A $1.7 million permit to SHP for renovations at the Fairfield County Workforce Center at 4465 Coonpath Road NW.

  • A $739,194 permit to Robertson Construction for remodeling work at the Lancaster Specialty Surgery Center at 3056 Columbus-Lancaster Road NW.

  • A $250,000 permit to Smartlink for Verizon Wireless cell tower work at 1875 Lake Road SE in Lancaster.

  • A pair of $225,00 permits to Smartlink for Verizon Wireless cell tower work at 7680 Thornville Road NE in Thornville and 4404 Julian Road SW in Lancaster.

  • A $190,000 permit to Cupkovic Architecture for remodeling work at Circle K at 950 Baltimore-Somerset Road.

  • A $120,000 permit to Guerrero Designs for a Babamov addition at 3739 Old Columbus Road in Carroll.

  • Two $50,000 permits to Verdantas for pool renovations and improvements at 312 W. Columbus St. in Pleasantville.

  • A $48,250 permit to Accurate Mechanical for heating and cooling work at the Lancaster City Schools garage at 2780 Coonpath Road NE in Lancaster.

  • A $16,825 permit to Accurate Mechanical for heating and cooling work at Steak n Shake at 1487 Victor Road NW in Lancaster.

  • A $5,873 permit to Walsh Brothers Electric for electrical service for a storage building at 2440 Old Logan Road in Lancaster.

  • A $695 permit to Koorsen Fire for a fire alarm at Pleasantville Elementary School at 300 W. Columbus St. in Pleasantville.
