I’ve got summer on the brain, and that means stocking up on all the flattering swimsuits to get ready for endless poolside days in the sun. Whether you like a one-piece, bikini, tankini or anything in between, so many Nordstrom swimsuits have caught my eye this year. This season, I’m predicting that we’ll see a lot of bold prints, particularly animal print, vibrant colors and, of course, the quintessential floral motif. Textured fabrics, from ribbed to ruched, are popular and notoriously flattering on every shape, and don’t be surprised if you see some mesh peek-a-boo moments in place of the cut-out craze that’s been running rampant these past few years.
Luckily, the department store has heaps of styles from cult-favorite brands like Sea Level, Andie, Becca, Miraclesuit, Good American and many more, with swimsuit options for wide hips, one-pieces for long torsos as well as bathing suits that’ll elongate and flatter short torsos and some maternity swimwear, too. While Nordstrom products don’t always have loads of reviews, the store has a great return policy if you end up needing a new size or want to return your picks. The bottoms have moderate to full bum coverage, so you can feel covered yet oh-so sexy in your one-piece.

Balconette style tops are huge this year, and I love this modern take on the ‘50s-esque, tropical vibe. This modest bikini has thin underwire, slender straps and a hook-and-eye closure in the back. You’ll be able to adjust these straps, but because of the unpadded cups you may not get much of a lift, if that’s what you’re looking for. Still, the lilac-colored top stitching and white trip above the bust line will naturally draw the eye towards the girls. The waist has a seam to give some more shape to your body and the plunging neckline adds a bit of sexiness. The back is mostly open, and the straps can be tightened for a more customizable fit. The hips have a slightly higher cut, which effortlessly elongates the legs, and the bottoms offer medium bum coverage.
