22 holiday markets on the South Shore: Crafts, baked goods and Santa, oh my

Delicious baked cookies and breads, pictures with Santa, beautiful winter decorations and hundreds of shopping booths are some of the things that will be on offer at winter craft fairs across the South Shore.

Even though Thanksgiving is weeks away, the holiday spirit is among us and these craft fairs are here to help. From Quincy to Plymouth these fairs are coming up soon to get shoppers into the holiday spirit.

Here is a list of upcoming holiday crafts fairs across the South Shore.

Upcoming South Shore holiday markets

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Holiday Fair

Crafts, baked goods, gift baskets and more are on offer at this holiday fair at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church Holiday Fair. According to the church’s Facebook post, Boston Bruins tickets are being raffled as well.

Holiday Shopping Expo

With over 125 artisans and small businesses slated to set up at the expo, a plethora of offerings are expected. From cookie decorating, personalized ornaments and an appearance from the Grinch, there is something for the whole family.

2023 Hingham Holiday Fair

Presented by the Hingham High School, this holiday fair offers a showcase of a wide variety of products made by over 90 artisans and small businesses in the area. Wreaths and many other products are available to get people in the holiday spirit.

First Parish of Norwell Holiday Fair

Everything from grandma’s attic to activities for kids, this holiday fair is offering something for the whole family. Jewelry, toys, books, crafts and more are on offer.

Dickens Festival Holiday Craft Fair

A Braintree tradition, this holiday craft fair is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving with the church being transformed into a festive Victorian marketplace offering Christmas cheer for all shoppers.

Channing Church Holiday Craft Fair

Local craft vendors, a white elephant gift table, a bake sale, a luncheon and more are advertised for this fair. Items like food baskets, gift cards, lottery tickets and more are being raffled during the duration of the fair.

Thanksgiving Craft Fair

  • When: Noon to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19

  • Where: Knights of Columbus Abington, 254 Hancock St., Abington

  • Tickets/admission: Free

More than 30 vendors, food, treats and various raffle prizes will be present during this holiday fair. According to the listing, all proceeds from the raffles will benefit St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

Kilroy Square Holiday Market

With a bigger and better-heated tent, the Kilroy Square Holiday Market is also advertising a larger number of vendors during this fair. More than 95 vendors are slated to be on hand with a beer garden and Santa featured.

Wicked Women Makers Market

Around 40 creative and talented vendors will be at this year's Wicked Women Makers Market, with items like jewelry, soaps, prints and many other items for sale during this year's market. This year marks the fifth annual installment of the market.

Fall Market Vendor Event

  • When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25

  • Where: Soul Purpose Wellness Studio, 274 Plymouth St., Halifax

  • Tickets/admission: Free

Held on Small Business Saturday, this fall market vendor event at Soul Purpose Wellness Studio is offering items like cookies and creative jewelry pieces by various local vendors.

Hull Holiday Showcase

Also held on Small Business Saturday, this event offers affordable holiday gifts, decorations, local apparel and more. Local artisans offer shoppers coastal holiday arts and crafts to get into the holiday cheer.

Coastal Christmas Fair

Held at the Quincy Point Congregational Church, the fair is raising funds for two local organizations: the New England Aquarium Sea Turtle Hospital and Interfaith Social Services, two organizations based in Quincy.

Weymouth High School Annual Craft Fair

A craft fair with more than 100 vendors from across the area, the Weymouth High School senior class is holding the 2023 Weymouth High School Annual Craft Fair.

Plymouth Holiday Market

The third annual Plymouth Holiday Market will host more than 120 local vendors in the holiday spirit. This two-day market features home goods, jewelry and specialty food as well as food trucks and many more items.

Annual Christmas Fair

Hosted by the Second Church of Plymouth, this Christmas fair offers crafts, raffles, a regifting room, a bake table and much more for holiday shoppers.

Seaside Christmas Fair

This Christmas fair at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church in Scituate is getting shoppers in the holiday spirit by offering homemade baked goods, their famous gift baskets and more cheerful gifts for the whole family.

Blue Hills Boosters Holiday Fair

  • When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2

  • Where: Blue Hills Regional High School, 800 Randolph St., Canton

  • Tickets/admission: Free

Hosted by boosters of the Blue Hills Technical School, this holiday fair with more than 100 vendors is offering raffles and a door prize. Concessions will also be available.

North Community Church Holiday Fair

Hosted by the North Community Church, featured are local crafters with unique holiday gifts, homemade baked goods, gourmet meals, a visit from Santa and much more. The event will be held inside the church’s parish house.

Greens and Craft Fair

  • When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2

  • Where: First Chuch of Christ, 10 Bedford St., Abington

  • Tickets/admission: Free

Holiday greens and a bake sale are just some of the things being advertised for this fair at the First Church of Christ in Abington. The fair is hosted by the Abington Garden Club.

23rd Annual New England Holiday Craft Spectacular

More than 150 juried artisans will display their works and a plethora of foods will be available at this event, which has been running for the last 23 years. Scottish fudge, hot sauces, Vermont maple and many more food items will be available.

Bryantville Elementary PTO Holiday Fair

Held at the Wolves Den Sports Complex, this event, hosted by the Bryantville Elementary School PTO, features free admission, raffles, shopping and more.

Holiday Spirit Market

Small vendors will be featured at this market, hosted at Barrel House Z, with the event being advertised as the ultimate holiday shopping experience.
