2024 NFL draft live updates: Round 1 predictions, how to watch, analysis, Browns picks

The NFL draft's bright lights shine on the latest group of players coming into the league tonight. At least, the first 32 of those players, as the first round of the draft unfolds in Detroit.

Meanwhile, in Berea, the Cleveland Browns are likely to sit and wait until some point in Friday's second round before they make their first move. Cleveland is in its third draft without a first-round pick thanks to the Deshaun Watson trade with the Houston Texans in March 2022.

While the Browns likely remain quiet for the duration of Thursday's first round, there's going to be plenty of activity taking place that impacts them in some way. All three of their AFC North rivals own a pick in the first round, while what is already on paper a difficult group of 2024 opponents will have a chance to improve themselves further.

Follow along here throughout the day leading up to the 8 p.m. start of the draft, and then throughout the first round as picks and moves are made.
