Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft kicks off at 8 p.m. ET tonight with broadcasts on ABC, ESPN, and the NFL Network. NFL draft experts Mel Kiper Jr. and Daniel Jeremiah as well as NFL insiders Adam Schefter, Ian Rapoport, and Field Yates across three networks will provide insight into every pick of the first round.

One name missing this year on ESPN's draft coverage: Todd McShay.

The Massachusetts native began his draft analysis at the start-up publication "The War Room" which was later acquired by ESPN and re-branded "Scouts Inc." He became the director of college football scouting for that group and was a fixture during NFL Draft coverage starting in 2006.

But McShay won't be on air this week because he was laid off from ESPN last June along with longtime network figures like Jeff Van Gundy, Keyshawn Johnson, Suzy Kolber, and Max Kellerman.

McShay is still offering up some draft insight, though. He released his top 100 prospects ranking on X, formerly known as Twitter, this morning.

He's also appeared on many podcasts to provide analysis on the 2024 NFL Draft, including The Ryen Russillo Podcast of The Ringer and Pardon My Take of Barstool Sports.
