2024 Monroe County Spelling Bee winners announced
MONROE — On April 4, the 2024 Monroe County Spelling Bee took place at the Monroe County Intermediate School District, 1101 S. Raisinville Road. There were 10 spelling rounds for the fifth and sixth-grade students and 12 rounds for the seventh- and eighth-graders.
Participants for the fifth and sixth grade were:
Winner: Lorelei Zaborski, Dundee Middle School
Runner Up: Izzy Fox, Wagar Middle & Junior High School
3rd: Henry Bodenreider, Custer Elementary School
4th: Maggie Cornell, St. Mary Parish School
5th: Annabelle Drapkin, Mason Middle School
6th: Wyatt Fraiser, St. Patrick School
7th: Carter Gordy, Mason Middle School
8th: Madden Perkey, Arborwood Elementary School
9th: Troy Donbrock, Arborwood Elementary School
10th: Hailey Roginski, Manor Elementary School
Participants for the seventh and eighth grade were:
Winner: Audrey Camilleri, Jefferson Middle School
Runner Up: Rylee Schoolcraft, Ida Middle School
