The 2024 GLAAD Media Awards are on their way. The LGBTQ+ awards are entering their 34th year of "honoring those in the media who have shown exemplary achievements for fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of the LGBTQ community and the issues that affect our lives."
The 2024 list of nominees include works such as All of Us Strangers, Passages, Nyad, The Last of Us, Riverdale and Yellowjackets. Below, find the full list of nominees along with everything else you need to know about the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards.
When are the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards?
As with previous years, there will be multiple ceremonies held for the GLAAD Media Awards. The Los Angeles ceremony will take place on March 14, 2024 and the New York City ceremony will take place on May 11, 2024. A compiled version of the two will then be telecast at a later date.

Where will the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards take place?
The Los Angeles ceremony for the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton hotel, while the NYC portion will take place at the Hilton Midtown.

GLAAD hasn't announced when/where you'll be able to watch the 2024 Media Awards, but since the New York ceremony doesn't take place until May, the compiled telecast won't air until sometime this summer.
Who is eligible for the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards?
The 2024 Media Awards honor media from 2023, so anything released during that calendar year is eligible. The awards honor media that pertains to the LGBTQ+ community and is judged on the following criteria:
Fair, accurate and inclusive representations
Boldness and originality

Overall quality
Who is the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards host?
So far, no host for the event has been announced yet, but we'll probably know closer to the date of the events.
Who votes for the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards?
The nominees are put together by GLAAD the organization and culled from lists that either they have put together or that have been submitted via their online form. The winners are voted on by GLAAD Media Awards voters who include GLAAD staff and board, GLAAD members, and volunteers and media industry experts.
