Augusta-area teams still alive in the GHSA state soccer playoffs

Girls

Class 6A

Grovetown (8-6-1) at Marist (14-1-1)

Grovetown shutout Rockdale County 6-0 in the opening round.

Class 5A

Harris County (12-5-1) at Greenbrier (15-0)

Greenbrier knocked out Arabia Mountain 10-0 in the first round. The Lady Pack have outscored their opponents 117-1 on the season

Class 3A

Harlem (8-3-2) at Pike County (12-5-1)

Harlem knocked out Thomasville via penalty kicks in the first round.

St. Vincent's (10-5-1) at Richmond Academy (14-2)

Richmond Academy cruised past Carver (Columbus) 10-0 in the opening round.

Class A D-II

Mt. Zion (7-8) at Aquinas (6-5)

Aquinas reached the second round via a bye.

Boys

Class 6A

Grovetown (11-6) at North Atlanta (14-2-2)

Grovetown defeated Morrow 2-0 in the opening round.

Class 3A

Richmond Academy (12-4) at Savannah Country Day (14-0-1)

Richmond Academy defeated Crisp County 5-0 in the first round.

Class A D-II

Aquinas (8-5-1) at Fugees Academy (5-1)

Aquinas reached on a first-round bye.
